CF&B Advisory is an accounting, finance, and advisory practice founded in February 2025, born from a long-held dream: to build a firm dedicated to supporting SMEs as they navigate the often complex journey of business.
Our purpose is simple yet powerful — to enable entrepreneurs and dreamers to focus on what truly matters: their operations, their vision, and the reason they went into business in the first place. We take care of the finance, accounting, compliance, and, where needed, step in as a mini or virtual CFO, partnering closely with our clients as enablers of economic participation and sustainable growth.
The practice was established in the wake of retrenchment following the Trump Administration’s Stop Work Orders and the subsequent withdrawal of funding to South Africa–based NPOs. With no formal plan, no pipeline, and no safety net — only vision, passion, and resilience — CF&B Advisory began its journey.
In our first three months, we secured work with an incredible Lithuanian-based start-up doing impactful work in the diversity and health spaces, delivering retrospective bookkeeping and management accounts.
Month four saw us take on tax-related matters for a local SME and its director in a personal capacity.
From months five to ten, our footprint expanded further — supporting SMEs with compliance, bookkeeping, annual financial statements, and facilitating asset finance solutions that enabled quicker market response and access to broader opportunities.
These may have been small steps and modest wins on paper, but for our clients they meant relief, peace of mind, and tangible milestones in their scaling journeys.
In 2026, we hit the ground running.

With the backing of the The Chartered Institute for Business Accountants CIBA and holding the Chartered Business Accountant in Practice — CBAP(SA) designation, we are on track to securing Tax Practitioner, Advisor, Independent Reviewer, and Business Rescue licences. These credentials will further strengthen our professional standing, add weight to our voice and credibility, and solidify our determination to stay the course — ensuring our clients receive nothing less than the highest standard of service.
