The point of making money is not so much that we can buy everything but that we cannot be bought by anything.

True wealth is the freedom to leave a table that is not aligning with your values. It is being UNCONTROLLED

I typed

create a poster for me with my frozen veggies.

within seconds I got this.

Its first draft. The robot then started asking me questions on how we can improve this.

Now why would any person pay a graphic designer to take hours on something that AI can do quicker?

I know we can attack my views but the reality is AI is here and unless we shape up we shall be phased out.

The moment your employer or customer finds and can afford a robot that can do what you do, your job is gone. 🤞🤞🤞

The issssue of unemployment will not get better.

There are no jobs and there won't be more jobs other than mental/cognitive abilities jobs.

Any job other than cognitive will pay nothing that can survive inflationary pressure because a robot can do that much faster, more efficient, without mistakes, in silence, without complaints, less sick days, less annual leave days.

RISE OF MACHINES

I once spoke at an event, a graduation ceremony for top achievers of a reputable institution.

Highlights

why Retirement was capped at age 65?

AGRARIAN AGES

During thee agrarian age, the jobs required physical strength. You needed your body most to bend on the farm 🚜, to carry loads, to clean, to drive a horse cart, to harvest cotton, to make shoes out your skin leather etc.

INDINDUSTRIAL AGE (Introduction of machines)

industrial machines started taking some of the work from the people. Driving a car needed less physical strength than driving a horse 🐎.

Tilling the ground with tractor was less physically demanding than using a cow 🐄 or a hoe.

Sewing clothes with needle and threat was replaced by a knitting machine. etc

Jobs which needed physical strength became redundant. Skills jobs went into demand. If you had a skill to operate a machine you were interested in. We moved from physical strength 💪 to mental strength.
If you could use a typewriter, you were preferred in journalism.

Effect on Retirement age: Dropped to about 55 years.
You were now allowed out of system 10 earlier.

4th Industrial Age (Rise of Machines)

The (www) world wide web age. We now experiencing people out of work as early as out of graduation. Early 20s. Artificial intelligence (AI) is doing almost all the jobs that a human being can do. Making it difficult too compete at both physical and mental level.

People needed now are super mentally strong people.
However I see lot of people, even the youth toy-toying to the government on high levels of unemployment.

If an institution can manage 10 tractors to till land of 100 hectares in a day to meet their food security production plans or maanage 10 000 people to do the work with hoes in a month, which option do we reasonably and realistically believe the institution will opt for?

I'll leave it there. The answer will wake you up to the reality of the machines.

LEARN TO DIFFERENTIATE BETWEEN ASSETS AND LIABILITIES

Many believe liabilities are a success and a blessing until the struggle to keep them surface.

The problem is that once people see you on the custody of certain things, they praise you and call you successful even without determining how such things were financed.

You then end up keeping things that are financially killing you just to maintain that image for people.

LIABILITIES in themselves are not bad, it's the bad labeling, calling them what they are not, expecting them to give us what they can't that makes them disappoint us and not work in our favor.

Different habits result in completely different lives.

It’s not always about how much you make.

It’s about what you do consistently with what you have.

Spend to feel good today X Delay & Build for tomorrow.

The gap doesn’t show immediately.

But give it time, it always does.

Small decisions compound but do do small excuses.

what's striking me is just how much one needs to fall in love with "the thing in order to do it right.

There are some things which you can't get right until you fall in love with them. Excellence in business is one such thing.

Quite difficult to achieve excellence in business unless you are passionate about what you sell and who you selling to.

Some customers can just sense when you sell without passion of what you selling.

If you’re a young Man Between 25–45, Start These 10 Habits Before It’s Too Late

1) Lock in a Non-Negotiable Morning Routine
Wake up at the same time daily. First hour = no phone, just intentional actions (water, meditate, plan your day). Discipline starts with how you begin your day.

2) Train Your Body 4–6x a Week
Whether it’s lifting, boxing, or running physical discipline builds mental discipline. You don’t get to be lazy in one area and sharp in another.

3) Track Your Money
Know what’s coming in, what’s going out, and where it’s going. Budgeting isn’t restriction it’s control.

4) Control Your Circle
Be around men who are building, not complaining. Your environment will either sharpen you or soften you.

5) Do Hard Things Daily
Pick 1–2 tasks you don’t feel like doing and do them anyway. This is literally how discipline is built reps of discomfort.

6) Keep Your Word to Yourself
If you say you’re going to do something, do it. Breaking promises to yourself is the fastest way to kill discipline.

7) Cut Dopamine Distractions
Limit social media, p**n, junk food, and mindless scrolling. If everything is easy pleasure, nothing meaningful gets done.

8. Set Weekly Standards (Not Just Goals)
Goals are outcomes. Standards are behaviors. Example: “I train 5x a week” vs. “I want to get in shape.”

9) Invest in Your Mind
Read daily, learn new skills, and challenge your thinking. What you consume mentally shapes how you think, decide, and act. Growth isn’t intentional it’s built.

10) Build Something That Outlives You
Focus on creating impact a business, a legacy, a body of work, or a community.

Don’t just chase money, build something meaningful that continues even when you’re not in the room.
