🚨 UAE VAT Update | Salik to Implement 5% VAT from 1 June 2026

Effective 1 June 2026, Salik will apply VAT at the standard rate of 5% on:

• Salik toll gate usage charges
• Salik tag activation fees

The update follows the implementation of the UAE Federal VAT Law and the company’s disclosure to the Dubai Financial Market dated 15 May 2026.

🚨 UAE VAT Update | Salik & Parkin to Apply 5% VAT from 1 June 2026

Dubai’s key mobility operators have officially announced the implementation of 5% VAT on selected services effective 1 June 2026, in line with UAE VAT regulations.

✅ Salik – VAT applicable on:
• Toll gate usage charges
• Tag activation fees

✅ Parkin – VAT applicable on:
• On-street parking
• Off-street parking
• Seasonal parking cards
• Parking permits & reservations

📢 UAE eInvoicing Update

The Ministry of Finance has extended the deadline for appointing an Accredited Service Provider (ASP) from 31 July 2026 to 30 October 2026 under Ministerial Decision No. 244 of 2025.

The amendment applies to businesses subject to the eInvoicing system with annual revenues exceeding AED 50 million.
