π¦πͺ UAE eInvoicing Readiness: Is Your Business Prepared?
The UAE is moving towards a more structured and digital invoicing environment β and businesses should start preparing now.
eInvoicing is more than simply sending invoices electronically. It requires businesses to review their invoice data, accounting processes, internal controls, systems, and integration requirements.
Under the UAE Ministry of Finance framework, businesses subject to eInvoicing will work through Accredited Service Providers (ASPs).
π What qualifies as an eInvoice?
An eInvoice is structured invoice data exchanged electronically. PDFs, Word documents, scanned invoices, images, or invoices sent by email are not considered eInvoices under the UAE framework.
