Necessary complexity comes from a requirement. A country you live in. A tax rule you have to work around. Something your family needs protected. There’s a reason it exists.

Accidental complexity comes from history. Someone recommended it. You moved. It made sense then, and nobody has looked at your plan since.

Both look identical on a statement. Only one is earning its keep.

A question you’ve never been able to answer in one word, and probably wouldn’t want to.

You live in the UAE. You’re from somewhere you haven’t lived in fifteen years. Your children are comfortable in three countries and belong to all of them.

Today, AES has teamed up with WSP in the Middle East and brought the Pink Caravan mobile clinic to their office.

Early detection is one of the biggest factors in how treatable breast cancer is.

The earlier it's found, often before any symptoms appear, the more treatment options there tend to be, and the better the outcomes.

Removing the cost, the waiting and the practical barriers is what turns the intention to get checked into people ACTUALLY doing so.

Screening tends to get its moment in October, but cancer doesn't follow a calendar.

Preventative healthcare is central to how AES approaches employee health - year-round rather than once a year, and this is what that looks like in practice.

AES would like to thank WSP for prioritising its people, and the Pink Caravan for the work it continues to do.

A year ago, Mohammed Al Daheri joined AES – and he's achieved a remarkable amount in those twelve months.

Mohammed's appetite for learning is the first thing you notice. Alongside his university studies, he's consistently sought out opportunities to build new skills, broaden his knowledge, and take on challenges outside his comfort zone. That curiosity, paired with a genuine commitment to growing, makes him a real asset to the team.

This past year, he's supported a wide range of technology and cyber security initiatives while continuing his degree – contributing to regulatory cyber security reviews, helping move our client portal work forward, and stepping in wherever a hand was needed. Balancing all that with the demands of university is no small feat, and he's done it brilliantly.

What we love though, is how he goes about it. Mohammed approaches challenges with humility, stays open to feedback, and brings a calm, thoughtful perspective to every discussion. Watching him develop over the year has been genuinely rewarding.
