With TÜV Rheinland, ensure your products comply with the UAE’s regulatory requirements and move to market with confidence.

ECAS (Emirates Conformity Assessment Scheme) is mandatory for regulated products before sale in the United Arab Emirates. The scheme is implemented under the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MoIAT) and verifies compliance with UAE technical regulations or approved international standards. Certification results in a Certificate of Conformity, valid for one year, with the possibility of covering multiple models under a single licence depending on the product category.

For products seeking added recognition, voluntary certification through ECAS or the Emirates Quality Mark (EQM) is also available. EQM represents a higher benchmark, reflecting quality, manufacturing consistency, and alignment with UAE standards.
