Today the Letcher Moroney Teams hosted our Annual Biggest Morning Tea to raise funds for the Cancer Council.Whilst we all enjoy the yummy morning tea we are mindful of why it is so important to host this event each year.

1 in 2 Australians are diagnosed with cancer before the age of 85, which is heartbreaking. Cancer Council is devoted to changing these figures and working towards a cancer free future.

Letcher Moroney were proud to sponsor LM Director Christian Dorward and his wife Sarah as they participated in the Treasure Life Ride 2024.They were joined by 14 other cyclists and 12 support crew as they cycled 600km across the Eyre Peninsula whilst raising money for Ronald McDonald House Charities South Australia and Matthew Flinders Home Port Lincoln.

The fundraising goal was to surpass the previous fundraising record of $131, 000 in 2022.

This goal was smashed and a total so far of over $250,000 has been raised for these not for profit entities.

What an amazing adventure, well done Christian and Sarah!
