Over the weekend, the Adelaide team marked a major milestone, 30 years in business, with an unforgettable evening alongside our incredible colleagues and business partners.

It was a celebration of legacy as everyone came together to reflect on three decades of growth, achievements, and the strong relationships that have shaped this journey. It was a fantastic opportunity to reconnect, recognise the hard work behind our success, and look ahead to the future.

Let's think tax deductions!

Don't spend money for the tax deduction, spend it because incurring the expense makes sense for your business. It is important to remember that any tax deduction only gets you a maximum saving of 47 cents in the dollar.

If you spend $100, at best, after tax saving this still costs you $53. This is dependent on your taxable income. If your taxable income is less between $45,000 and $135,000 that $100 costs you $68. Is it worth spending that amount?

As we reach nearer to the end of the financial year, the team at PKF Adelaide want to highlight some important financial changes coming into effect from 1 July 2025.

Superannuation Guarantee Increase:

Superannuation guarantee will increase to 12% from 1 July 2025. Employers please ensure this is considered for all earnings subject to superannuation paid after 1 July 2025.

PKF Adelaide was thrilled to attend & present the PKF Financial Accounting Undergraduate Prize at the University of South Australia earlier this month.

The PKF Financial Accounting Prize is awarded to student/s enrolled in an eligible program & residing in Adelaide with the most outstanding academic performance in selected courses.

We congratulate the well-deserving winner and look forward to attending more events like these in the future.

ANZAC Day 2025

PKF Adelaide commemorated ANZAC Day with a presentation by Warrant Office Class Two Neville Pace, Royal Australian Engineer Corps.

WO2 Pace shared the story of South Australian Lieutenant Colonel Stan Watson who was responsible for constructing Watson’s Pier to facilitate the successful evacuation of over 30,000 troops from Gallipoli Peninsula.

Watson’s Pier was 64m long and took 30 men 4 weeks to build, while under fire. It was completed on 18 June 1915, which was the 100 year anniversary of the Battle of Waterloo. This was celebrated with the Waterloo Dinner at Anzac Cove that night. This dinner has been held continuously since 1925 in South Australia by the Royal Australian Engineers.
