Distance is not an excuse for poor communication.
In hospitality, things move fast. Decisions need to be made, numbers need to be reviewed, and problems need to be solved - often without the luxury of waiting for the right moment.
That's why having a team that's always available matters more than people realize.
It doesn't matter if they're in a different city or a different time zone. What matters is that when you need feedback, you get it. When you need answers, they're there. When you need clarity, it comes quickly.
"Even though we might be remote, we're actually connected pretty closely."
That's not a coincidence. That's the way we work.
