For those who are new here, I thought I'd properly reintroduce myself.
I'm Nicole.
I grew up in a family trade business and have spent most of my life around trades, workshops, job sites and people who aren't afraid of hard work.
I'm a mum to two incredible girls, an accountant by trade, a trade business owner by choice, and someone who is always planning the next adventure. If I'm not working, you'll usually find me horse riding, getting things done outside, listening to live music, or dreaming up my next trip.
I'm that kid who watched my Dad build businesses, make mistakes, backed himself when it would have been easier not to, and learned that success isn't just about money. A business should be about creating freedom, choice and a life you actually enjoy living.
One of the things people tell me I'm good at is creating clarity from chaos. I love taking complicated problems, messy numbers and overwhelming situations and helping people see a clear path forward.
I care deeply about helping people believe in themselves, often before they believe in themselves. There's nothing I enjoy more than watching a Tradie go from stressed, overwhelmed and uncertain to confident, in control and excited about what's possible.
The reason Tradie CFO exists is personal.
My dad worked incredibly hard his entire life. Like many tradies, he carried a lot of responsibility and always put providing for his first which meant he missed all those moments at home. Losing him far too young changed the way I look at business, success and life.
It reinforced something I already knew: no Tradie should work harder than they need to and still miss out on the life they're working so hard to build.
That's why I do what I do.
Thanks for being here and following along on the journey
