One month into Payday Super. Time for a precision check, not a panic check.
If you've run a few pay cycles under the new rules, three things are worth a closer look:
Are contributions actually landing inside the 7-business-day window? Not "usually" β every payday, checked.
Is your new clearing house keeping pace? If you were on the ATO's Small Business Superannuation Clearing House before it closed, this is the first real test of whatever you moved to.
Are rejected payments getting caught fast? Funds only have three business days to allocate or reject a contribution β and there's no extension to your 7-day deadline if something bounces back. The earlier you catch it, the more room you have to fix it.
None of this is about assuming the worst. It's about knowing, not hoping, that your systems are holding up.
