When do you actually need to register for GST? 🤔

If your annual business sales are under $75,000, you’re not required to register for GST.

But… some business owners choose to register early because:
✅ It can make your business appear more legitimate.
✅ Other businesses may prefer to deal with GST-registered suppliers.

Remember — once your turnover hits $75,000 per year, registration becomes mandatory.

💡 Tip: Even if you’re below the threshold, it’s worth planning ahead to avoid compliance stress later.

🎬 Watch Ritchie explain it in simple terms.

That 10% tax you collect on your taxable sales? That’s for your BAS, not your biz. 👀

🔥 Our hot tip: Keep GST separate from your cash flow.

Why it helps:
✅ Makes your cash flow easier to track
✅ When your BAS is due, you’ll have the funds ready to pay.

👉 You could start by setting the money aside in a different bank account. You can also consider reporting and paying monthly with smaller, more manageable payments.

📣 Tax season is in full swing!
Do you know how tax deductions actually work?

Ritchie, Principal at Cruz & Co, explains it simply in this short video:
Spend $100 → get $32 back at a 32% tax rate.

✅ Small steps like this can add up to big savings.
