Earlier this year, we were proud to support the Childers Show as a Platinum Sponsor – an event that holds a special place in the local community, and an even more personal connection for one of our team members.

Our Assistant Accountant, Meghan Whel, has a family connection to the Childers Show that spans generations. Meghan's great-grandparents were involved with the Show, and today she continues the tradition as Treasurer of the Childers Show Society.

We’re proud to have played a small part in supporting the 2026 Childers Show. Read more about the highlights here: https://advisorypartner.com.au/2026-childers-show-highlights/

What would you do differently if you knew your finances were working towards the life you actually want?

Financial planning isn’t just about investments, super or retirement. It’s about answering the bigger questions:

• Am I on track for the future I want?
• Could I be making better use of what I already have?
• When could I realistically retire?
• Are my current financial decisions helping or holding me back?
• What happens to the plan if life doesn’t go the way I expect?

Your tax return can tell you a lot about where you’ve been, but it can’t tell you whether you’re heading in the right direction.

That’s where financial planning comes in.

At Advisory Partner, we offer financial planning services to help you make informed decisions about your money today, with your longer-term goals in mind.
We’ve explored some of the questions worth asking beyond the numbers in your tax return in our latest article.

We’re proud to be a Platinum Sponsor of the 109th annual Childers Show 🎉

Since 1903, the Childers Show has been bringing the community together to celebrate local livestock, produce, makers, creators, and the spirit of regional Queensland.

For our Assistant Accountant, Meghan Whel – who is also Treasurer of the Childers Show Society – the connection runs even deeper, with her family’s involvement spanning generations.

Community events like this are what make regional towns so special, and we’re proud to support something that means so much to Childers.

Daniher’s Drive has become a crucial fundraising event for Motor Neurone Disease (MND), and for Matt, Director at Advisory Partner, it’s personal. After losing his father to MND, Matt is dedicated to raising awareness and funds through Fight MND.

In October 2025, Matt organised the Blue Denim Disco at the Bolt Inn in Uralla, which brought together over 100 locals for a night of fun. As DJ Matman, Matt got everyone up and dancing while making a difference leading up to the 2025 Drive.

As Director, Matt focuses on helping farmers and regional business owners thrive, bringing the spirit of community and support into everything he does. Whether that's navigating financial or succession challenges, helping create intergeneration wealth, getting involved in local events, or showing up to a client meeting with a loaf of fresh sourdough, Matt is supportive of our community, and is always willing to help.
