Southern Cross Facilities Services are a leading landscaping and cleaning company based in QLD with depots throughout Moreton Bay, Brisbane and the Gold Coast. With a passion for excellence and commitment to providing our clients with a 5-star quality service, we have multiple positions available across our departments for experienced machine operators, landscape labourers and whipper operators.
As part of our team, you would be responsible for maintaining parks, gardens, roadside and unit complexes. Time management, reliability and a can-do attitude are crucial in these roles.
Your tasks would include, but not be limited to:
Landscape maintenance – whipping, mowing, hedging, rubbish removals
Roadside, parks and gardens – whipping, mowing, gardening, machine operation
Safely operate and maintain equipment including pre start checks, safe working procedures, incident reporting, risk assessments.
Completion of service schedules and reporting requirements.
Ability to work independently or collaborate with team members.
Physical fitness and ability to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions.
Experienced machine operators for small and large Toro mowers, zero turns and John Deere tractors.
Manual drivers licence and white card (preferred).
Traffic management certificate and ACDC licence (advantageous).
