EOFY is always one of the busiest times of the year for our team.

To recognise the effort everyone has put in over the past few weeks, we closed the office early on Friday and spent the afternoon together tackling an escape room challenge, followed by plenty of food, drinks and laughs.

We did the Y2K 90s Nostalgia room at Escape Academy Cairns, there was something like 18 puzzles to solve, and the team divided and conquered and even made the leader board for our time.


Our people work incredibly hard behind the scenes to support our clients, and it was great to take a moment to celebrate another EOFY successfully behind us.

Thanks team, it was well deserved. 👏❤️

This year, the Kelly Wealth team is proud to be participating in Relay For Life. Our team name is "Investing in Hope – Kelly Wealth."

Later this month, the team will be taking to the track and walking.....walking......walking....

Cancer touches the lives of so many people—our family members, friends, colleagues, and clients. That's why we've joined Relay For Life to help raise funds for the Cancer Council's vital research, prevention, and support services.

Meet Brent Cerutti -Director | Senior Financial Adviser

Brent has more than two decades of experience advising individuals, families and business owners on complex financial matters. He is known for combining disciplined investment thinking with carefully considered long-term strategy, helping clients navigate important financial decisions with clarity and confidence.

Brent’s career began in accounting before moving into stockbroking, where he spent six years advising on direct equities. This early grounding in markets and capital allocation continues to shape his approach to portfolio construction and risk management today.

Brent works closely clients who have built or are building wealth. His advisory focus spans the full financial lifecycle - from supporting wealth accumulators as they grow and structure their assets, through to providing sophisticated retirement planning advice for clients approaching or transitioning into retirement.

He now advises clients across a broad range of financial structures, including multi-asset portfolios, superannuation and SMSFs, retirement frameworks, tax-aware strategies and intergenerational wealth considerations. His work often involves coordinating across legal, accounting and lending professionals to ensure strategy is aligned at every level.

Brent holds a Bachelor of Management from James Cook University and is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®). He has completed advanced studies in derivatives and listed products, is ASX accredited Listed products adviserand is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD). Meet Karla Calleja

Karla is an Associate who plays an essential role in supporting clients, advisers, and our administration team throughout the financial advice journey. Working alongside adviser Brent Kelly, Karla attends client meetings, prepares file notes and advice plans, collaborates with our paraplanner, and assists clients with their queries to ensure advice is implemented accurately and remains on track.

Karla has been connected to the financial services industry since 2019, beginning her experience in an accounting practice during school holiday breaks. This early exposure sparked her passion for the advice industry and led her to return in 2023 as a Client Service Officer for a financial advising firm while completing her studies at university.

Since graduating in 2025 with a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Financial Advisory, Karla has continued to advance her career and is now completing her professional year to become a qualified financial adviser. Karla brings a strong understanding of the advice process and is passionate about building meaningful client relationships, helping people gain clarity around their financial position, and guiding them toward their long‑term goals through thoughtful, strategic advice.

Outside the office, Karla enjoys Pilates, spending time with family and friends, reading, and diving into the latest craft trends.
