Pacifica is proud to be standing with Rotary Club of Cairns Sunrise throughout May to help raise awareness of domestic and family violence. Each Friday during the month, members of the Pacifica team are wearing purple polo shirts in support of the campaign, turning a simple gesture into a visible show of support for an issue that affects far too many individuals and families in our community.
This initiative is about more than wearing purple. It is about helping raise public awareness, encouraging conversation, and showing support for those impacted by domestic and family violence. Pacifica is pleased to stand alongside Rotary Club of Cairns Sunrise in support of this important cause. Pacifica’s support will also extend beyond the workplace, with team members taking part in the community rally on Friday 22 May. The walk will follow the Cairns Esplanade from Muddy’s Playground and Skate Park to Fogerty Park, helping shine a further light on the issue and showing support for individuals and families affected by domestic and family violence.

Pictured here are some of the Pacifica team supporting the Rotary Club of Cairns Sunrise community initiative. In a change that certainly caught the attention of the office, Pacifica Managing Director Michael Schramm also joined the initiative by wearing a purple polo shirt, stepping away from his trademark shirt and tie for the occasion.
