Payday super starts 1 July 2026. Here's what's changing:
▪️Super must be paid the same day as wages and received by the employee's fund within 7 days . Monthly and quarterly payment options will no longer exist.
▪️Super is calculated on qualifying earnings (QE) in stead of ordinary time earnings (OTE). QE includes OTE and other payments.
▪️The small business superannuation clearing house (SBSCH) will cease to exist. Super will need to be paid via super stream compliant software (Xero, MYOB etc).
