A light has gone out in the Green Bean family.
After being diagnosed only earlier this year, Fredrik, the much loved and adored husband of Teresia, and very well know member of our local community, has passed away from Pancreatic Cancer.
We are devastated by this turn of events. Only a couple of weeks ago things still seemed hopeful. There were treatments, options, there was still TIME.
Fredrik was integral to the success of Green Bean. Whether he was helping with physical tasks like keeping Teresia fed during the long hours of tax season, or offering us support with a friendly joke or a chat. We are all grateful to have spent time with Fredrik and had the privilege to call him a friend.
Lots of people will know him from the Coolbellup library - you always knew you could find him there and that he would go above and beyond to help you.
Our hearts go out to his family, friends, library colleagues, and everyone who knew him and loved him, as we did.
Fredrik was kind, funny, generous, cheeky, and adventurous and we will miss him deeply.
