In case you missed the recent SCHADS Award update!

Changes to sleepovers came into effect from 1 June 2026, impacting how shifts are rostered and paid across the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services (SCHADS) Award.

These updates include changes to:
• Ordinary hours and extended shifts
• Rest breaks between shifts
• Shift allowances and penalty rates

If your business operates under the SCHADS Award, now is the time to review your rostering and payroll processes to ensure compliance 👀
