Thank You!

Throughout June, our team proudly wore pink every Wednesday in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month 💗

We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to our amazing clients, family, and friends who supported us and donated to this important cause. Your generosity made a real impact.

The numbers are finally in… and together with the rest of Australia, your support helped the Go Pink campaign raise over $1.1 million for the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

We are proud to have played a small part in such an incredible outcome.

If your business pays contractors for services, you may be required to lodge a Taxable Payments Annual Report (TPAR) with the ATO.

You will need to report if your business operates in industries such as building & construction, cleaning, courier & road freight services, information technology (IT) services or security.

The due date for lodgement of your 2025 TPAR is 28 August 2025. Failure to lodge may result in penalites and ATO compliance action.

If you are unsure whether this applies to you, or you need assistance with preparing your report, please contact our office - we are here to help!

Thinking of lodging your 2025 tax return on 1 July? Hold off just a little longer!

The ATO has advised that pre-filling of crucial information (like income statements, bank interest, and private health details) may not be complete in the first few weeks of July.

Lodging too early can increase the chance of missing important details - which may delay your refund or require amendments later.

We recommend waiting until later in July when the ATO systems are more complete and accurate.

We're here to help you get it right the first time - and maximise your return. If you have questions or want to book in, feel free to get in touch - our appointments start from 21 July 2025.

Important Payroll Changes from 1 July – Is Your Business Ready?

From 1 July 2025, two major changes come into effect:

1. Wages increase – National Minimum Wages are increasing by 3.5%
2. Super Guarantee increase – Rising from 11.5% to 12%

These changes will impact your payroll costs, so it's crucial to ensure your payroll systems are updated to reflect both the new award rates and the increased super rate.

Still haven't had a chance to review your pricing/costing models or payroll setup?

Don't worry - there is still time. Get in touch and we can help you get everything sorted.
