🚨 Milestone Achieved – Over $10 Million in Commercial Property Transactions 🚨

In February 2025, I set out to build a business focused on helping everyday Australians invest in commercial property with confidence. For over 20 years I have had a passion for property and now I am able to live it.

Today, I am incredibly grateful to have helped clients purchase more than $10 million worth of commercial property.

But for me, this milestone isn't about the dollar figure.

It's about:

Having worked in mining, construction, and manufacturing, I know what it's like to work long hours and wonder if there is a better way to create wealth.

Gayle Shann

Born and raised on a large isolated cattle station in North Queensland, Gayle was the third of four girls and learnt the value of independence, resilience, and hard work from a very young age.

Growing up in a horse-loving family, horses were always a way of life, however campdrafting was something Gayle discovered for herself after leaving school — and it quickly became a passion. It was through campdrafting that she met her husband, Mac, and in 1999, the pair married young and full of dreams for the future.

Just twelve months later, they stepped into the management role of a newly acquired family property, beginning their journey together at Cantaur Park.

But less than two years later, life changed forever.

While fencing on the property, Gayle was involved in a tragic farming accident after becoming caught in a post hole digger behind a tractor. She suffered multiple devastating injuries, including the amputation of her right arm and shoulder. Shortly after, she was also faced with the heartbreaking reality that her left arm had been left completely paralysed.

Inspirational. Resilient. Courageous. Kind-hearted. A remarkable horse and cattle woman. Salt of the earth.

But above all else — humble.

With incredible bravery and grace, Gayle will be sharing her journey with us — a story of unimaginable adversity, enduring love, determination, and a life rebuilt with strength and purpose. It is a story that has inspired so many across rural Australia and beyond.

We are deeply honoured to welcome Gayle to Charters Towers on the 5th of September, and we know her story will touch every single person in the audience.

Growing up in a farming family taught me early that success in rural Australia never comes easy. My parents were — and still are — self-employed, working long hours to build businesses, employ local people, and create opportunities within their community.

What makes agribusiness unique is that so much is outside your control. Weather events, commodity prices, interest rates, and market conditions can change quickly, and families on the land are constantly adapting. It’s one of the reasons I’ve always had such a strong appreciation for rural finance and the resilience required to build generational businesses in the bush.

I’ve also seen firsthand the importance of having the right team around you. In agriculture, the right support — whether it’s finance, agronomy, accounting, or legal advice — can make a significant difference when navigating seasonal pressures, growth opportunities, succession planning, and long-term wealth creation. Behind every successful family business is a network of trusted people helping families make confident decisions for the future.

That’s why this recent Mother’s Day shoot with Goondiwindi Cotton felt so special. It celebrated strong women, family business, and the rural lifestyle that so many of us understand and live every day 🤍
