Are you a small business with employees?
Or do you operate through an entity and pay yourself a wage?
Then the changes to employer superannuation contributions apply to you!

From 1 July 2026 employers are required to pay their employees superannuation to the respective super funds each time they pay wages. So if an employee pays their staff weekly, they pay their super weekly. If they pay their staff fortnightly, they pay their super fortnightly.

I’m encouraging my clients to start doing this before 30 June to get into the habit and help manage cashflow.
