The budget drops. The policies shift. And suddenly your “regional specialist” is spruiking house-and-land packages. 🚩

This is one of the biggest red flags in property — advisors who pivot their entire strategy the moment the political wind changes.

Real investing isn’t reactive. The best deals we’ve ever found started as massive uphill battles. Areas others dismissed. Strategies people questioned out loud.

Another financial year wrapped up. ❤️

What a year it’s been.

A year of growth, change, new faces, new clients, new opportunities, and plenty of challenges along the way. We’ve welcomed some incredible people to our team, and watching them embrace our culture from day one has been something really special. At the same time, our existing team continue to raise the bar, developing both professionally and personally in ways that make us incredibly proud.

We’ve also had the privilege of welcoming so many amazing new clients to the Strategiq family. Thank you for trusting us to be part of your journey.

This year has certainly tested businesses. Budget changes, economic uncertainty and constant shifts in the landscape could have easily distracted us. Instead, they’ve only reinforced who we are. We’ve stayed true to our philosophy, our values and our commitment to putting our clients and our people first.

Looking around this table today, we couldn’t be prouder. Every single person plays such an important role in what we’re building together, and it’s because of this team that we’re able to keep growing without compromising who we are.

Stay true to your principles. Work with people who think long-term, not people chasing the next trend. That’s how you build something that survives every cycle, every policy change, every “opportunity” that turns out to be noise.

One of the most common questions we get: “Should I buy this to claim the instant asset write off?”

Short answer… not unless it makes sense commercially.

Because a tax deduction is only worth your tax rate (around 25%).
You’re still funding the other 75%.
