Payday Super is right around the corner!

From 1 July 2026, your employer needs to pay super contributions at the same time they pay your salary or wages, so the contributions reach your nominated account within 7 business days.

There are some exceptions. For example, the first super contribution for a new employee will need to be made within 20 business days of their salary or wages being paid.

The Australian Tax Office is responsible for implementing the new rules and is the best source of info about the changes. Keep up to date on their website: https://www.ato.gov.au/businesses-and-organisations/super-for-employers/payday-super

You may find from 1 July onwards we may ask you for more information when you come to us. This is because of the new legislation from AUSTRAC. For more information please see the following link.
