Job vacancy exists for a Graduate/Junior Accountant.

We’re looking for a motivated Graduate/Junior Accountant who shows a positive, enthusiastic attitude and a willingness to progress. Experience not necessary, however wanting to be an accountant is :)

Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Attention to detail
- Office duties
- Supporting senior staff with non-accounting tasks
- Positive attitude
- Must be a permanent resident

The role includes:
- Xero and related cloud software
- Preparing financial statements and income tax returns
- Bookkeeping, BAS, IAS, GST returns
- Liaising with internal staff and external clients

This role is a Monday to Friday position 9am-5:30pm with some flexibility, if needed.

Job vacancy exists for an enthusiastic Junior Administration Officer.

The Coghlan Group is based on the Gold Coast and offers a diverse range of services for clients across Australia including tax and accounting, residential and commercial building, road construction, real estate, financial planning and wealth management, as well as mortgage broking.

We’re currently looking for a Junior Administration Officer who should be customer service orientated, have excellent phone manner, attention to detail, keen sense of initiative, great organisational skills and be happy to learn new skill sets.

This role will include (but not limited to):
- receptionist duties inc. answering phones.
- administration duties inc. filing, etc.
- managing client appointments.
- managing mail registers.

We are looking for someone who:
- can start immediately;
- is well presented and has excellent time management skills;
- who takes pride and care in what they do;
- has a friendly and confident demeanour;
- has a can-do attitude and a detailed orientated approach to their work;
- can communicate well in both a written and verbal context;
- has a professional and confident phone manner and will provide our clients with exceptional service;
- is organised, has excellent time management skills, computer skills and works well under pressure and is flexible;
- is looking to develop new business skills;
- is a team player, but able to work independently and has a positive work ethic;
- has some experience with MYOB or Xero.

This role is a Monday to Friday 9am-5:30pm position with some flexibility, if needed.
