The NDIS Amendment Act has now passed Parliament, and a number of changes will be introduced over time.
For plan-managed participants, one important message is this: there is no need to panic, but it will become even more important to keep invoices, records and claims up to date.
One key upcoming change is that, from 1 December 2026, claims for NDIS supports will need to be made within 90 days of the service being delivered. This means participants, families and providers should avoid holding invoices for long periods before sending them to their plan manager.
There are also future changes coming to plan management, including a new government-approved list of plan management providers from 1 October 2027, with a transition period.
At Braveheart Plan Managers, our commitment remains the same: to support our participants with care, accuracy, clear communication and responsive service. We will continue to monitor these changes and help participants, families and providers understand what they mean in practical terms.
We are also available to answer enquiries from participants, nominees, support coordinators and providers who would like clear and personalised plan management support.
If you are looking for a plan manager, or thinking about changing plan managers, we are currently welcoming new participants. Please send us a message here or fill in our “Sign Up” form on our website:
