From today, new Payday Super requirements apply. The June quarter super is still due 28 July 2026, but all pay runs with a payment date from 1 July 2026 onwards must comply with the new requirements.

Payday Super is getting closer.

From 1 July 2026, employers will need to pay employee super within 7 business days of each payday.

For businesses already using Xero payroll, the transition should be straightforward. However, it’s important to review your cash flow and processes ahead of time to make sure you’re prepared.
