No previous experience is required, we will teach you everything you need to know! However a solid foundation in general computer skills is desired.

Working hours can be flexible for the right person, including after school hours for someone in their final year of high school.

The position will include:

We are looking for an experienced accountant to join our growing team in Goondiwindi, QLD.

We are looking for someone who:
- has great attention to detail and good problem solving skills
- a strong work ethic and works well in a team environment
- is adept at using Xero, Excel and Adobe

The role will include reviewing tax returns for individuals and business, preparing quarterly/monthly BAS’s, providing assistance to the team and our clients.

Ideally looking to fill a full-time position, but can be flexible with working hours for the right candidate. However, this position will be client facing so we will require someone to work from our office in Goondiwindi, no remote work.

The role will include greeting clients, answering phone calls, booking meetings, organising client files, communications with the ATO, and providing support to our accounting team.

The job will require someone to work in our Gundy office, no remote work. Working hours will be 8:30am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday.

And just like that we’re in May! With just short of two months to go until the end of the financial year now is the perfect time to make sure your business books are up to date and to consider any tax planning required.

If you haven’t lodged last year’s tax yet (I.e. to 30 June 2024) then now is the time! If you lodge through a tax agent you have until 15 May 2025.
