🏄 Have you ever noticed the surfboard in our office?

It was actually a gift from our team to Eric, organised by Brooke, and it's become a bit of a feature around the office.

The surfboard reflects Eric's love for the ocean, from surfing to open water swimming.

When we first put it up, we filled it with photos from team events, holidays, family moments, and memories we've shared along the way.

It's a nice reminder that there's more to life than work, and that the people and experiences outside the office are just as important as what happens inside it.

👋 A few weeks ago, we set aside a day for our Strategic Planning Session. This week, our leadership team came back together for Workflow and Resource Planning.

It's a habit we've built into the start of each financial year, giving us the opportunity to step back, take a proactive approach, and map out the year ahead.

From reviewing upcoming client work and key projects to allocating resources, scheduling priorities, and setting reminders, it's all about making sure we're prepared for what's ahead rather than simply reacting to it.

It's also a practice we encourage our clients to embrace. A little time spent planning ahead now can save a lot of time, stress, and uncertainty later.

👏 We always enjoy opportunities to step away from the desk and connect with other business leaders.

It was great to attend The Talent Table: Leadership Circle Networking Lunch last Friday, and a big congratulations to Anna Blackman for bringing this fantastic initiative from Brisbane to Melbourne.

There were plenty of new ideas shared, perspectives challenged, and valuable conversations throughout the afternoon.

It was also wonderful to see a couple of our clients, Amanda Cage from Focused Solutions and Kagan Sakir from On Demand Hire, as well as a few familiar faces from Match Alliance!
