😇 Sure, you can claim you’re the best worker in your team. But you can’t claim the food and alcohol you buy at the office end of year party.

Food and drinks at work functions are considered private in nature. They’re not deductible.

Tip: there are different rules if you’re an employer providing food and drinks. In this case, you’ll need to check if FBT applies.
