DIRECTOR ID's - DEADLINE 30 NOVEMBER 2022 *IMPORTANT*

If you are a Director of an Australian Company, you need a Director Identification Number (Director ID). The deadline for this is 30 November 2022.

Your Accountant, Tax Agent or ASIC Agent are unable to apply on your behalf.

Therefore, the fastest way to get a Director ID is to apply online using the “MyGovID” App. This App is free, and is different from the App for MyGov where you may access Income Tax, Medicare & Centrelink information.

Recent news reports on FaceBook and other media are warning taxpayers of $220 penalties if they don't lodge their Income Tax Returns by 31 October 2022.

This DOES NOT APPLY if you are on the lodgement list of a Registered Tax Agent prior to that date.
