Are you a highly organised administrator looking for a rewarding part-time role with school friendly hours?
Blackburn Prior, an accounting firm providing business and tax support to businesses in the Northern NSW area, is seeking an Administration Officer to join our team in Lismore.
As a respected part of our team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our business, supporting our accountants in providing exceptional services to our clients.
In this varied and engaging role, during the day you'll typically find yourself:
• Exchanging information with clients, banks, solicitors and planners: responding to inquiries and requests for information and records
• Supporting the directors and accountants in delivering services: gathering information from clients, creating new job cards
• Processing client records: complete simple bookkeeping tasks so that client records are up to date
• Managing our response times: working closely with the directors, responding to emails and other enquiries and actioning tasks as required
• Ensure efficient practice operations: Maintain accurate records, manage appointments, and provide general administrative support.
We are looking for someone who:
• Has proven experience in an administrative role, ideally within a professional setting (experience in a finance, accounting or legal environment is desirable).
• Possesses excellent computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office Suite.
• Is highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Is friendly and professional with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Is reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Has a good understanding of confidentiality (knowledge of the Privacy Act 1988 would be advantageous).

• Flexible part-time hours (9.00am – 3.00pm, flexibility on these hours offered for the right candidate)
