Monday Magic # The Monday Money Check

Monday morning magic isn't always about making more money.
Sometimes it's knowing where your money is actually going. 💰

Before you dive into the week, take 10 minutes and check:
✔️ What's sitting in the business bank account?
✔️ What's coming in this week?
✔️ What bills are due?
✔️ Who still owes you money?
✔️ Are there any big expenses coming up?

It sounds simple, but knowing your numbers can take a LOT of the stress out of running a small business.
Especially when you're juggling customers, staff, suppliers and everything else that comes with owning a business in Mackay!

Monday magic tip: Don't wait until there's a cash-flow problem to look at your cash flow.

✅ When Did You Last Give Your Business A Health Check?

A Healthy Business Needs More Than Sales. Just like your own health, your business benefits from regular check-ups.

Take a moment to review:
• Profitability
• Cash flow
• Debtors
• Business goals
• Insurance
• Tax obligations

Sometimes a small adjustment today can create a significant impact over the next 12 months. The key is knowing where to look.

Mackay's Sweetest Business Fact 🌱

Here's a Mackay fact you might not know...a🍬 The Mackay region produces more than one-third of Australia's total sugar production. And around 85% of that sugar is exported around the world. 🌏That's a pretty big deal for our little corner of Queensland! But there's a business lesson hiding in that statistic too.

Mackay businesses know all about seasons.
Busy periods.
Quiet periods.
Weather.
Market changes.
Supply and demand.

And the smartest business owners don't just plan for the good times. They plan for the quieter ones too.

Monday Magic: If your business income goes through busy and quiet periods, have you planned your cash flow around the cycle?

Because good cash flow planning isn't about predicting the future perfectly. It's about being prepared when things don't go exactly to plan.
