Monday Magic # Don't Spend Just to Save Tax

We've all heard it..."I need to buy it before June so I can claim it on tax." 👀

But here's the thing: Spending $10,000 to save tax doesn't magically make you $10,000 richer.

Before making a big purchase, ask yourself:
👉 Do I actually need it?
👉 Will it help the business make money or operate better?
👉 Can the business comfortably afford it?
👉 What's the actual tax benefit?

A tax deduction reduces your taxable income, it doesn't mean the ATO pays for the purchase.
So before you pull out the business credit card, talk to your accountant first.

Good tax planning is about making smart business decisions, not simply spending money for a deduction.

What a fantastic day celebrating the incredible community spirit behind the Flagon & Dragon! 🐉🥂

We’re so proud of our very own Melinda, who proudly serves on the Flagon & Dragon board, and of the amazing work this event continues to do for children and young people across the Mackay region.

This year’s event raised an incredible $300,000, which will be invested straight back into our community to support the health and wellbeing of local kids and young people. 💙

Hey everyone! We just had an incredible experience at the Careers Expo, and we couldn't wait to share it with you. The event was truly impressive, with everything organised to perfection!

Nikki had the fantastic opportunity to speak on a panel for the grade 10 students. She shared valuable insights about career journeys, discussing the lessons she’s learned along the way. It was all about giving the students direction and sharing essential dos and don'ts to help them excel on their paths to success.
