2026 Federal Budget

This year’s Federal Budget includes a mix of measures that impact tax, housing, investments and everyday costs. While some changes may create opportunities, others may mean it’s worth reviewing existing plans and strategies.

SUMMARY OF KEY PROPOSALS
- Changes to capital gains tax and negative gearing
- Amendments to the tax treatment of discretionary trusts
- Changes to tax offsets and instant tax deduction for workers, and
- More support for disabled and elderly Australians.

It's important to note that these changes are proposals only and may or may not be made law (unless stated otherwise)
