✈️ Australia is going digital at the border!

The Australian Government has announced the phased rollout of the Australia Travel Declaration, replacing the traditional paper Incoming Passenger Card with a digital alternative.

What’s changing?
📱 No more paper passenger cards on eligible international arrivals.
🛂 Faster and more seamless airport processing.
🌱 Improved biosecurity through earlier and more accurate traveller information.
✈️ A smoother travel experience for both visitors and returning Australians.

Rollout timeline:
✅ Successfully trialled with over 450,000 passengers on selected Qantas flights into Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne.
➡️ Expanding to Perth and Adelaide by the end of 2026.
🌏 Rolling out to all Australian international airports and seaports over the next 12–18 months.

The initiative aims to modernise Australia’s borders, reduce manual processing, strengthen biosecurity, and improve the arrival experience for millions of international travellers.

📌 Review of Migration Decision
Current Fee: AUD$3,580
New Fee: AUD$3,727

📌 Review of Protection Decision
Current Fee: AUD$2,230
New Fee: AUD$2,293

📌 Standard Application Fee
Current Fee: AUD$1,148
New Fee: AUD$1,195

The concessional fee remains AUD$100.
