TAX RETURNS for FY 2023-24 are due in less than 6 weeks! 😲 They need to be prepared, lodged and paid by May 15th.
Please let us know ASAP if you'd like us to do yours!
If you're worried about a possible debt, we can talk with the ATO about a payment plan for you, so don't let that be an obstacle. It’s better to lodge to avoid a fine.

Look at how happy our Ronak is! 😀 Let's keep him that way.
It's less than 7 weeks until FY 2023-24 tax returns are due for lodgement and payment with the ATO. We're scheduling the work now so that Ronak doesn't blow a gasket in the days leading up to the May 15th deadline.
Please let us know if you'd like us to book you in.

Well done to our Michelle & Ronak! 👏 What a milestone! Since Jan 2018, Counting Clouds has lodged 5000 files with the ATO. That includes BASs, IASs, FBT Returns, and Tax Returns for individuals, partnerships, companies and trusts.

Since unearthing two new members on drums and guitar The Gems are back with a fresh sound.
Recorded by Casey Rice at Audrey Studios late last year, the new single brings in elements of lumbering garage rock, jangly guitars, harmonic vocals and a curiously catchy middle 8.
Joining the line up on the night will be Harminia and band with their alt rock shoegaze vibes followed by the handsome lads from The 1980s. An indie rock band with a new wave bent.
This is a night you won’t wanna miss. We can’t wait to show you what we have been working on!

We are so excited (and a little nervous!) to be putting on a show next weekend on Saturday 8th March Upstairs at ! When your creative calling starts booming, keeping on top of administration, payroll and tax obligations can be overwhelming. Doing the books yourself can be stressful and might not even be the best use of your time. As your business grows there’s a time when it makes sense to ask for help.

Counting Clouds provides bookkeeping, business support and payroll assistance to sole traders and small businesses with a creative bent. As BAS agents we can lodge your Business Activity Statements for GST, your Pay As You Go Withholding and your Pay As You Go Instalments with the ATO on your behalf.

We’re based in Melbourne's inner city suburb of Fitzroy and although we mostly work with locals, we provide services Australia wide. We work mostly paperless and remotely but we’re also happy to have face-to-face consultations.

Our team consists of certified and knowledgeable bookkeepers and accountants and a talented administrator. Our collective prior experiences and current extra-curricular activities include jewellery making, writing, hospitality, horticulture, social media, music management, film and TV, playing in bands, boutique retail and so much more.
