A little update from Richard — both personally and from the world of finance.
It's been a busy few weeks at MÔN Financial Services, and Richard has a few things to share.
First, some good news on the personal front. Recovery from his foot operation is going well, although the moon boot is still making an appearance! It's also been lovely having family home from Thailand, with plenty happening around the house.
Turning to the markets, there have been some interesting differences between Australian and overseas performance. Fiducian's September commentary highlighted stronger results in several overseas markets, while Australian shares had a more subdued period.
Closer to home, interest rates, inflation and changes in the property market remain important topics. They're also good reminders of why financial decisions are worth considering in the context of individual circumstances and longer-term plans.
