Raise is a fantastic organisation helping youth in our community. If you have the time to get involved you can become a trained mentor and make a difference to a teen in need.

💔 Su***de is one of the leading causes of death for young people in Australia — but together, we can change that.

Many teens struggle in silence. With the majority of suicides amongst adolescents occurring between the ages of 15 –17, early intervention is essential.

The focus of this year’s Su***de Prevention Day is to ensure those who are struggling feel heard, supported, and connected. Raise was founded to do just that. Raise Mentoring is designed to provide support to young people in those challenging and critical early teenage years of 13 to 16.

Our trained and safety-checked mentors support teens weekly — for 10, 17, or 20 weeks, in schools or online — helping them develop:
✅ Help-seeking skills
✅ Social and emotional wellbeing
✅ Confidence and resilience
✅ Connections and a sense of belonging
✅ Hope for the future
