Carly might be crazy but thats why we love her!!

Ask any of us and you'll get the same answer: she's the one who'll celebrate your wins louder than you do, keep you calm at tax time, and somehow make bookkeeping feel… fun? (We're as confused about that as you are.)

Meet our gorgeous Hayleigh 💚

Hayleigh is the creative of the team and has been at ECA for 2 years.

She took 4 months off last year to travel Australia with family in their caravan! RUDE!

When it comes to marketing ideas, projects and creative business development or you've loved something we've shared online, there's a good chance Hayleigh had a hand in it!

Hayleigh is one of the founders of “It’s Ok Not to Be Okay”, a community focused initiative dedicated to raising awareness around mental health, wellbeing, and su***de prevention.

Highland cow obsessed, Diet coke addict, true crime fanatic. Loves country music. Fashions on the field enthusiast and loves keeping active and being outdoors with her family.

What actually is a "write off" (aka a tax deduction)? 🤔
You've heard someone say "I'll just write it off!" like it's free money.
Bad news… it's not. 😅

A write off is just a business expense you're allowed to subtract from your income before tax.
So you only get taxed on what's left after your real business costs.....not everything you earned.

The bit everyone gets wrong:
✅It doesn't make things free. It lowers the income you're taxed on, so you save your tax rate on it, not the full amount.
✅Spend $100, you don't get $100 back.
✅So no… you can't write off your daily coffee.

Write offs are great. They're just you not paying tax on money you genuinely spent running your business.

Meet our amazing Kath 💚

Kath is our longest serving ECA staff member. 16 years.

She knows Carly better than Carly knows herself.
She is our problem solver. If there's a problem, Kath will find a solution. If there's a challenge, she'll work through it. And if the rest of us are running around trying to put out fires, Kath is usually sitting there completely unfazed.

Nothing seems to rattle her. No matter how busy things get, Kath brings a calm, steady presence to the office that keeps both our team and our clients feeling supported. Her ability to stay level headed, think things through and tackle even the trickiest situations.

She is our resident concert enthusiast, music lover, mum of 3 who’s about to take part in the “Sh*tbox Rally” to help raise money for the cancer council.

Meet the lovely Alex! 💚

Has been at ECA just over a year.

Alex has a knack for sifting through the complicated, messy and sometimes downright traumatic tasks that business owners would rather pretend don't exist.

The bigger the clean-up job, the happier she seems to be. Her attention to detail, determination and love of getting things organised means our clients can finally stop stressing about the things keeping them awake at night.

Hyrox competitor, loves Mexican food & margaritas, step mother to 2 girls that keep her on her toes and keep her by far the fittest in this office!!!
