PLEASE BEWARE OF PHONE SCAMMERS!!
Scammers are getting more inventive. They can pretend to be from the Consumer Protection or ATO and they can even get someone to call you from your accountant's number!! (Just read that they can hack the nbn numbers) Always only talk to a person you know.
DO NOT REVEAL ANY PRIVATE INFORMATION
DO NOT PAY ANY MONEY OR PROVIDE BANK DETAILS
DO NOT CALL BACK ON THE NUMBER THEY GIVE YOU

If any of our clients get a call from the Tax Office please hang up WITHOUT TALKING TO THEM AT ALL and call our office. To non-clients - hang up and google the number and call the official number listed on the ATO website.

Please be very careful as fraud activity has increased due to covid-19 government incentives.

Just a reminder that all businesses that employ staff must start reporting wages using Single Touch Payroll BEFORE 30 SEPTEMBER 2019. If you need help setting up your STP please contact our office.

IMPORTANT!
If you missed a payment summary on your tax return, ATO will CANCEL your original refund and will REISSUE a new refund based on complete records. This causes delays. Please ensure that you provide ALL PAYMENT SUMMARIES to avoid delays.

This year is a transitional year - some employers still use old paper based system and some new electronic system - so WE CANNOT GUARANTEE that all payment summaries are online! It is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to provide complete records.

If we need to resubmit your tax return we will charge $130 amendment fee.
