𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝗖𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗮 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗽, aka Cass.

If you’ve ever sat down with Cass, you’ll know pretty quickly she does two things really well:

𝗦𝗵𝗲 𝗮𝘀𝗸𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗾𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀.
𝗦𝗵𝗲 𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗮 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝘀𝘄𝗲𝗿.

There’s never any waffle or overcomplication. She's all about clear thinking that helps people cut through the noise and move forward.

We’d describe Cass as a mix of 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘀𝗺, and she’s a big believer in backing yourself (and helping others do the same).

𝗙𝘂𝗻 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝘁: She started out in an ice cream shop, so she’s been delivering great experiences from day one!

We loved being out in the community at the Newcastle & Lake Macquarie Career Expo on 14 May at Broadmeadow Racecourse.

Our team — Bonnie, Sam, Erin and James — spent the day talking with Years 10–12 students, teachers and career advisors about what a career in accounting can really look like.

The conversations were down‑to‑earth and practical, covering things like:
• what a typical day looks like
• the different career pathways available
• our team’s own experiences starting out and building careers in accounting and business advisory

We also shared information about CA Fundamentals as an alternative pathway into the profession, which was especially popular with students considering more flexible or non‑traditional options.

It was great to be involved during National Careers Week, with career events taking place right across Australia.

You can find out more at : https://buff.ly/Hc0fEHC

Always happy to help start these conversations early and support the next generation as they explore their options.

𝗚𝗘𝗠 𝗦𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗯𝗼𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 didn't just need someone to do their finances.

They needed someone to help them see around corners - to build a five-year plan, chart the org structure years in advance, and make bold moves like saying 'no' to projects that didn't fit the vision.
