From 20 September 2026, eligible pensioners travelling overseas temporarily can generally receive their full Pension Supplement for up to 12 weeks. After that, the supplement stops. It also stops on departure if you move overseas permanently.

Other payments and concessions have their own travel rules, so the 12-week period does not mean every part of your pension remains unchanged.
