Here are some tips to help you avoid making mistakes in your tax returns

1. Don't rush to get your tax returns done in early July - wait till the banks/employers/Private health insurance have updated their records and lodged it with the ATO

2. Make sure you look for all records - receipts/log books

3. Don't forget - foreign income, share sales, rental income expenses, and cryptocurrency sales
