𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 📸🏔️

11 years ago, a small group from KLI took on a pretty big adventure — Everest Base Camp.

Looking through these photos again brought back so many memories. The cold, the long walks, the breathtaking views, the tired legs… and, of course, the laughs and moments we shared along the way. 😄

It wasn't always easy, but we kept going — one step at a time, looking out for each other and enjoying the journey along the way.

It's funny how much can change in 11 years, yet some things stay the same.

The people may change, the business may grow, and the journey may take us to different places, but the importance of having good people around you never does.

A very special chapter in the KLI story. ❤️

And looking back, we're grateful for the memories, the lessons and the people who shared the journey with us.

Here's to the next adventure. 🏔️

𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗹𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗵 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗮𝗻 𝘂𝗻𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗻… 😂🥢

It started with Kelly looking at Uber Eats and asking, "Does anyone want anything?"

The funny thing? Some of us had already prepared our own lunch packs for the day. 😆

But somehow, one by one, the lunch packs were left behind… and the team decided to join Kelly for dim sum instead. 😂🥢

And just like that, our usual office lunch turned into a spontaneous lunch outing filled with good food, laughter and great conversations.

No planning. No calendar invites. Just a random idea that turned into a fun team moment.

Of course, being KLI, we couldn't completely switch off from work. Over lunch, we also shared ideas, discussed things we could improve and talked about how we can continue working better together.

So technically, it was lunch… but we also managed to get some work done. 😂

These moments don't happen every day, which is what makes them special.

Sometimes the best team moments are the ones you don't plan.

Here's to more spontaneous plans, good food and little KLI moments. ❤️

𝗕𝗲𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸. ❤️

Last Friday was a little different from our usual workday — we finally got together for our end-of-financial-year lunch at Numa Italian 🍽️

With our teams working across different offices and everyone busy with their own work, it's not always easy to find the time to get everyone together.

And while not everyone could make it this time — some had other commitments and some were on leave — we were so glad to have everyone who could join us. We definitely missed those who couldn't be with us and hope to have everyone together next time.

What made the day special wasn't just the food. It was the conversations, the laughter and all the little moments in between.

Usually, we're busy talking about work, clients and deadlines. But this time, we got to know each other a little more — talking about family, parenting, kids, weddings, pregnancies, pets, travel, interests and everything in between.

There was plenty of laughter too, and it's amazing how much you can learn about the people you work with when you take a moment to step away from the usual work routine.

Earlier this year, KLI welcomed a new bookkeeping business into the group, and this lunch was one of our first opportunities to bring more of our people together and get to know each other beyond our day-to-day work.

With our teams working from different offices, opportunities like this to meet, connect and build relationships are something we truly value.

Here's to more good food, more conversations, more laughter and many more KLI moments to come. 🥂❤️

𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝗟𝘂𝗹𝘂 🐶

Lulu is Kelly’s sausage dog and, every now and then, she comes to the KLI office when nobody is available to keep her company at home.

And when Lulu comes to the office, the KLI team knows the drill — we all chip in and take turns keeping her company. 🐶❤️

She can be a little annoying sometimes… but she’s also a lot of fun and definitely knows how to keep everyone entertained. 😄

It’s just one of the little things that makes working at KLI feel a little different.

We believe in being flexible, supporting each other and creating a workplace that feels a little more like home.

Because sometimes, work comes with four legs, a wagging tail and a very big personality. 🐾

As a Principal at KLI, Patrick is part of the team behind the business and its continued growth.

Outside of work, Patrick is a bit of an audio nerd 🎧 and loves building car sound systems that recreate a live concert experience.

And here's a little hidden talent — Patrick can play the piano! 🎹

When travelling, you'll often find him with a camera in hand, enjoying photography — especially aircraft and city skylines. 📷✈️🏙️

When he's back in KL, Patrick loves catching up with his close friends, going on endless food hunts and, of course, teasing each other along the way. 😄🍽️

Colin has been part of KLI's journey since the early days, supporting Kelly as she built and grew the business.

Outside of work, Colin enjoys good food and travelling to experience different cultures and meet new people, with Japan, Thailand and Malaysia among his favourite places. 🍜✈️

He's also a coffee lover and enjoys making coffee, with a passion for audio and cars. ☕️🎧🚗

And when he's back in his hometown in Malaysia? You can bet he'll be on the hunt for two of his favourites — durian and roti canai! 🌳🥞😄

When he's not working or travelling, Colin enjoys being at home and spending some well-deserved me time with his loved ones. ❤️
