A few years before I started my business, I watched my parents build theirs from the ground up.

They worked incredibly hard.
They looked after their staff, paid their suppliers, and met every tax obligation.

On paper, the business was profitable.

But it never really paid them.

Instead of creating freedom, the business demanded more and more of their time, energy and money.

Watching that shaped the way I wanted to run my own business.

I promised myself I wouldn't build a business that only survived, I wanted one that supported the life I was working so hard to create.
