October already?! Here are some important dates to keep on your radar:

▪ 1 October
Businesses can no longer add surcharges to Visa, Mastercard, eftpos or AMEX card payments

▪ 21 October
Lodge and pay September monthly BAS/IAS, where applicable

▪ 28 October
Lodge and pay the September quarter activity statement if the standard due date applies

▪ 31 October
Individual tax return deadline if you are self lodging or the date to ensure you are registered with a tax agent if you want to utilise the extended lodgment date

A big week of learning, catching up and making new connections for Sandra 👏

She kicked things off in Newcastle with a day of professional development on business valuations with Trevor Monaghan, Forensic Accountant and Business Valuation Specialist.

Then it was on to Sydney for Ignition’s Women in Accounting alumni meetup, where Sandra caught up with familiar faces, made some new connections and spent time with an inspiring group of women in the profession. She also received a signed copy of The Accounting Profit Blueprint from Amanda Gascoigne FCA - Accounting Practice Coach & Speaker

And to finish the week, the team are in Coffs Harbour for the Business NSW - Mid North Coast Awards tonight ✨ Wish us luck! 🤞
