Massive shout out to Mick and Daz from CQ Crane Hire our Platinum Sponsors for this year’s charity golf day.

Since day one, these blokes have continued to show up, back our movement, and help us make a real impact in the community.

Between sponsorships and auction items alone through our golf events over 3 years, they’ve helped raise an incredible $30,000 for Walk ‘n’ Talk over the past 3 years.

We don’t sponsor great causes for recognition, but we’re incredibly proud to support the team at Walk ‘n’ Talk and the important work they do in our community.

To see that our contribution over the past three years has helped raise $30,000 is something we’re genuinely proud of. Every dollar raised helps make a difference, and we’re grateful to play a small part in that journey.

A huge credit goes to everyone involved in organising these events, the sponsors, auction donors, players and supporters who continue to get behind such an important cause.

I'm thrilled to participate in the 'Hoist For Hospice' 2026! 🏗️ This extraordinary event will lift me to new heights, raising vital funds for the Fitzroy Community Hospice

On Wednesday, 13 May 2026, I'll be hoisted 8-20 meters into the air inside the work box at CQLX Gracemere, the event starts at 6.30am, but I will be hoisted at 8.30am, visible from the Capricorn Highway (I must also mention this.... I'm scared of heights). To descend back down, I must reach a fundraising goal of $5,000 for the Hospice!
This empowering FUNdraising event will amplify the provision of palliative care and bereavement support services in Central Queensland. As a local charity, every dollar raised will stay local, benefiting our community. Please help me soar to new heights and support this incredible cause.
