Don't worry; you'll be hearing from us. We're awaiting policy detail (ie. draft and final legislation) to iron out some gaps and uncertainties that remain from the announcements to date. Rest assured that the window for action is very wide (3 years) and will not even open until July 2027 (when the restructuring tax concession is slated to commence from). The overhaul of tax treatment in respect of negative gearing, Capital Gains Tax, and Trust distributions, as well as differences in business structures, investments, and personal circumstances inherently means that each situation deserves separate consideration.
