Success means more when you can use it to make a difference. 💙

What a fantastic night we had hosting the Gold Coast Corporate Rotary Winter Fundraiser BBQ in the Positive Dynamics courtyard!

With around 60 people joining us, it was a wonderful evening of business, friendship, great food and, most importantly, giving back to our local community.

Together, we were incredibly proud to raise and donate $2,000 to the Gold Coast Hospital Foundation, while also collecting a wonderful assortment of gifts for Friends with Dignity. Those gifts will go directly to mothers, fathers and children doing it tough and hopefully bring a little joy when it is needed most.

At Positive Dynamics Wealth Management, this sits very closely with what we believe.

We spend our days helping people build, protect and enjoy their wealth — but we also believe wealth should have purpose. It should give you the freedom to live well, support the people you love and, when you can, make a difference in the lives of others.

It’s a philosophy we try to live ourselves: enjoy the journey, give while you’re living and leave things a little better than you found them.

A huge congratulations to Damira Hidic, Partner at Australian Family Lawyers, who won our raffle prize — a Lady Elliot Island day trip for two! 🏝️

Thank you also to Jeff Frazer from Frazer Financial Audit & Corporate Advisory, who once again generously donated his time on the decks 🎶, and to Bruno from Churras Chi for the Brazilian BBQ that everyone is still talking about!

And, of course, thank you to every person who bought a ticket, brought a gift, joined us on the night and supported the cause. You are what made the evening such a success.

It’s the Gold Coast Show public holiday, and our wonderful Hayley Maree — who has been part of the Positive Dynamics family for an incredible 13 years — is making the most of her day off out on the water.

Some relationships go far beyond financial advice. ❤️

Almost two years ago, we had the privilege of meeting Tony following a life-changing workplace accident that resulted in a permanent brain injury.

Through the incredible work of his personal injury legal team, Tony received a significant settlement. From there, our role was to help him build a financial plan that would provide confidence, security, and ensure his funds could support him for the long term as his needs continue to evolve.

Today, Tony visited our office for his annual review with Mark Cullen & Vanessa Jansen, and to share his story in a video testimonial.

What continues to inspire us isn’t just the trust Tony places in our team for every major financial decision—it’s his determination. Every year, he continues to achieve milestones that many believed would never be possible. We were honoured to be invited to sponsor and deliver the Sponsor Address at the Rotary Tri-District College of Governors’ Gala Luncheon this week.

A sincere thank you to District 9640 and the wider Rotary community for the warm welcome, and for the opportunity to contribute alongside such an inspiring lineup of leaders across Australia and New Zealand.

In our address, we explored a question we believe is worth pausing on:
What does it actually mean to live a wealthy life?

So often, we spend decades focused on building wealth — but forget to intentionally design the life it’s meant to support.
“Don’t Die Rich. Live by Design.” isn’t just a tagline at Positive Dynamics — it’s a challenge to be deliberate with your money, your time, and the legacy you’re creating while you’re here to enjoy it.

It was a privilege to be part of a day centred on leadership, impact, and service — values Rotary continues to embody so powerfully in our communities.

This ANZAC Day, a simple act carried a powerful message 🇦🇺

Dane and Vanessa Jansen’s son & school friend set up a small stand selling homemade ANZAC biscuits—honouring a tradition born from resilience, sacrifice, and care. These biscuits once travelled across oceans to support soldiers far from home. Today, that same spirit lives on in a new generation.

But look a little deeper, and there’s something even more meaningful unfolding.

At such a young age, he’s not just baking cookies—he’s building the foundations of a powerful financial mindset:

✔ Creating value from effort
✔ Learning the confidence to engage with others
