Get It Sorted is a small practice that was established in 2013. We currently have 4 bookkeepers, 3 registered BAS Agents and a qualified bookkeeper. Our BAS Agents are all members of the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers. In terms of our work method, we prefer to take a proactive approach rather than sit back and wait for clients to provide the information we need, so you can expect regular emai
ls with due dates and information that we require. We do have an expectation that you will provide the information that we have requested, we do it to keep you compliant, not to be a pain in your backside. So, if you are the type of client that doesn’t like being asked for receipts and bank statements then we are maybe not the bookkeepers for you. However, in return you will have the most comprehensive, complete, tidy and accurate file that will make it a breeze for your accountant to work on at year end. We also like to regularly review our client’s processes and advise where things can be improved or streamlined, in line with current best practice. We are happy to work with clients that are completely tech savvy or those that are technically challenged and we don’t mind the shoebox (shopping bag, folder, envelope) full of receipts! In addition to our regular bookkeeping, we specialise in helping those businesses and organisations that find themselves overwhelmed by the “book work” and have fallen behind, or don’t quite understand the legislative requirements and as a result are not compliant. We also like processing payroll (not all BAS Agents do as it’s a legislative nightmare) and for clients that are new to business we can help set up accounting software and implement processes to stay on top of their accounts right from the start. We work extensively with Xero (Certified Silver Partner), MYOB (Silver Partner) and Quickbooks (Gold Partner) but can adapt to any software.
